About IESEG


IESEG is a leading Grande Ecole in France founded in 1964. It is a member of the Catholic University of Lille and is legally authorized by the French Ministry of Higher Education and Research to provide tertiary academic qualifications. Since its inception, IESEG has rapidly established itself as one of Europes leading schools for management education and research.Most of the IESEG academic staff have already achieved the highest academic qualifications including PhDs and they currently hold membership of major international associations of scholars, scientific and professionals in which they also make their regular research contributions via the international conferences and scientific forums held by their respective associations. IESEG itself is an active member of the European Foundation for Management Education. IESEG has over 1,500 students including international students, taught by 200 full-time and visiting academic staff.


With a population of approximately 1.5 million inhabitants and 6 European capitals within a 250-kilometer radius, Lille, due to its strategic position at the crossroads of Northern Europe, is rapidly gaining status as a world trade and communications center. The “fixed link” between Great Britain and Continental Europe with high-speed trains to Belgium and West Germany (Paris 1hr, Brussels 40’, London 80’) enhances Lille’s location at the heart of a quickly expanding region.
