Deanery occupies a strategic position in higher education in terms of providing academic lead and administrative facilitation to the teachers and students. Stream wise deaneries in Christ University coordinate all the activities from designing of curriculum to result analysis. Through a technology enabled effective networking the deaneries constantly innovate methods for knowledge dissemination and knowledge generation. Having the largest number of disciplines, students and teachers in the broader areas of Humanities and Social Sciences, our
deanery is engaged in an ongoing dialogue on polity, economy, society and culture and specifically the fields of Psychology, Media and Communication studies and Sociology.

The Deanery looks after the admission process of students for various programmes, orientation programmes, Holistic Education, Orientation on Environment Studies and Indian Constitution ,Certificate Programmes, Association Activities, Attendance Monitoring , fee Concession , Scholarship and Faculty Evaluation.

The Deanery also takes care of the Faculty Selection, Faculty Induction programme, Faculty development programme , department meetings, Faculty professional development programmes, Faculty out bound programme , Research & publications and Faculty Appraisal .
