The Department of Physics in Christ University was started in the year 1969. It offers Physics as a subject at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. It offers two specializations i.e., Crystal Physics and Electronics at the PG level. The course opens up teaching as well as research opportunities in Physics. |

Exceeding Imagination - Aura of Imagination
The Department of Physics, Christ University conducts a science fest every year for undergraduate and postgraduate students of Physics and Chemistry of various colleges / universities across the city. This will be an ideal platform for students to interact and exchange ideas with each other. The fest features six events; Lecture Contest, Debate, Quiz, Dumb Charades, Science Crossword and Collage. Winners are awarded exciting prizes. |
