The Department of Computer Science endeavours to imbibe the vision of the University in its goal to “develop IT professionals with ethical values”. The department focuses on empowering students with competencies in theoretical, programming, communication, team work, organisation and management skills.
Gateways 2011-the annual inter-collegiate All India Post Graduate IT fest was hosted by the Department of Computer Science. Gateways 2011 had participants from 32 institutions across the country. There were various events which enthralled all the participants. The events were both innovative and intellectual. This talent hunt comprised of both technical and non technical events. The fest is a two day event held on 6th and 7th of September. The gist of various events and the number of participants are provided below.
