Deanery occupies a strategic position in higher education in terms of providing academic lead and administrative facilitation to the teachers and students. Stream wise deaneries in Christ University coordinate all the activities from designing of curriculum to result analysis. Through a technology enabled effective networking the deaneries constantly innovate methods for knowledge dissemination and knowledge generation. Having the largest number of disciplines, students and teachers in the broader areas of Humanities and Social Sciences, our deanery is engaged in an ongoing dialogue on polity, economy, society and culture and specifically the fields of Psychology, Media and Communication studies and Sociology. |

The Department of Commerce organizes “Prayas”, a national-level inter-collegiate commerce fest that seeks to simulate the bearings of the business environment, thereby bridging the prominent gap between the theories of academics and the practicalities of the corporate world. This year, Prayas was hosted on September 4th and 5th 2012 and around 14 of the best colleges in India participated including Loyola College, St. Xaviers Calcutta, Symbiosis Pune, St. Joseph College Bangalore to name a few
