Department of chemistry is one of the oldest departments in Christ university situated in block I of the university. The department has sufficient infrastructural facilities in terms of well equipped laboratories with modern instruments and well furnished and spacious class rooms which can take care of 600 undergraduate students and 160 postgraduate students apart from the M.Phil and PhD students.
The Department of Chemistry, Christ University conducts a science fest every year for undergraduate and postgraduate students of Chemistry of various colleges / universities across the city. This will be an ideal platform for students to interact and exchange ideas with each other. The various events of chemoz are, lecture contest, Science Crossword, Quiz, JAM, Pot Pouri and Debate.
