Overview
Christ University, formerly Christ College established in 1969 with the motto, Excellence and Service to provide quality education to the young generation was born out of the educational vision of Blessed Kuriakose Elias Chavara, the founder of CMI congregation. Blessed Chavara was a great educationalist and a social reformer of the 19th century.
The Botany Department is associated with a Modern Laboratory with latest equipments needed for practicals and also to perform minor research projects.
Highlights
1. The department has been consistently getting a 100% result in the University practical examinations.
2. The students have been participating in inter college competitions and winning many prizes.
Goal of the Department
The department seeks to offer its students holistic development and academic excellence to contribute effectively to the research and development of the subject.
